The art of Gratitude.

I want to share a story with you but before I do I would like to ask you two questions what are you grateful for in your life and how often do you actually say it.

At the beginning of 2016 I set myself a one year goal and a five year goal because I thought why not everyone seems to rave on about how successful people do this and it works for them so I thought fuck it do it.

So I decided to a write a goal in the form of a essay I put loads of emotion into it and feelings on what It would feel like to have these things I typed it out and laminated it and put it on the fridge.

Well everyday I read it and focused and imagined what it would be like to have these things in my life and each morning I felt excited and driven In fact I talked like I already had these things in my life and each day I would do a Incantation and it went like this “I believe in Life Love Harmony Health and Wealth and I wish all these things on my friends family and loved ones and for my enemy’s I offer compassion and I hope you find what you are looking for in life”

And then I would say I am so grateful for the sights the smells the touches and all the blessings you bless me with on a daily basis and I ask you to send me what you think I deserve and no more.

Yes throughout the year I got side tracked but also there was lessons I had to learn about my coping strategies when it come to stress and I am very grateful for that life lesson let me tell you until you are truly tested you do not know how much you can cope with until you come out the other end and dust yourself off.

I thank the support of family and friends for there help during that tough and challenging time.

Cut along story short I smashed my 5 year goal in a year and it was ambitious let me tell you. So on Christmas day I found myself in church counting my blessing and it felt fantastic to give something back and to feel the peace and serenity of the environment I found myself in.

So this years goals are mega EXCITING but I am so happy that I have found some way to connect with my spirituality again because being grateful is the true key to success.
